We’ve sure seen plenty of California in our street scene series, but we’re not complaining – the dry climate means there’s always a good diversity of vehicles in shots from that state. Today’s photo, of typical rush hour traffic at the intersection of 17th and Broadway in Santa Ana, comes from the UCLA Library’s digital collections. It looks like any landmarks in the photo have been wiped out by the street widening, but based on the shadows, we believe the photo was taken looking west up 17th. Carspotters, what do you see here?
